Does anyone know of a very good pediatric neurologist in Massachusetts
My son had a virus last week and now is having trouble walking.

I have taken him to the pediatrician and his neurologist 3-4 times.

I need to seek a second opinion or see another doctor who might have seen more patients with my son's symptoms.

His symptoms of the virus have subsided, but he is still very weak in the knees and trips over his feet.

I'm worried and I want him to see a good doctor.

If you know of one, please let me know.

2. There is Childrens in Boston, and I would take him there, but
I wanted to know if anyone might have had good results with a specific doctor.

I have been trying to look on the web, but it really hasn't been much help.

Thanks, if I can't get a name, then I will call Childrens.

3. Call Children's Hospital NOW
because it may take a while to get in to see someone for an evaluation.

Those symptoms are serious and need to be checked out.

4. It has been my experience that
pretty much any doctor at a Children's hospital is good. We have come in contact with several. They are usually there because they are the best in their field. I understand wanting to have the best but I don't think you can go wrong by taking him there.

7. Here's a balance specialist in Boston
I saw Dr. Stephen Parker in 1985 at Mass Eye and Ear. He is director of otoneurology there. I was having problems with severe vertigo. He diagnosed me right away as having benign positional vertigo and helped me a great deal. My vertigo started after a viral infection. I couldn't drive or even look both ways to cross a street.

I don't know if he treats children. Good luck!

They are the best pediatric hospital in the country. They can do procedures that nobody else in the world can.

I am taking my own son there for a series of appointments.
