"Democrats complained..." We're all a bunch of complainers...new RW meme
<snips>

Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) complained that Congressional Republicans, like the White House, want no debate and no input from Democrats.

He said he was concerned Frist might consider only Republican amendments. For the bill to pass quickly, it must remain the same as the version that will be considered in the House, a Frist aide said.

'The Democrats complained that the Republican-led Congress has "failed to conduct effective oversight before the war and we are failing again now."'

FROM PBS:

Senate Democrats complained today about revisions in a deal on handling terror suspects. The Washington Post reported White House officials and top Republicans have altered a compromise agreement. The changes broaden the definition of enemy combatant; that means a wider range of foreign suspects can be detained. Democratic Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois warned against changes that appear small but could cause problems.

Get it?
