One day a year with NO advertizing at all

Is that too much to hope for? I would like there to be a law passed, that one day a year no advertizing on any radio, television and internet.

You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.

or a personal video recorder and it really changes the way you watch t.v.

2. I realize this might be a trite answer

but as per TV and radio just turn it off for that one day a year. I try to watch as little TV as possible because I HATE commercials. Bloody advertising is EVERYWHERE. If you live in a big city ads are plastered on any open space they can find you can't get away from the shit.

Since ads are how these otherwise free services get paid for. Your asking them to all go to work for a day without getting paid.
