Confidence in Iraq Policies Drops to 20% in U.S.

- Fewer adults in the United States believe their government’s handling of the coalition effort has been adequate, according to a poll by Harris Interactive. Only 20 per cent of respondents are confident that U.S. policies in Iraq will be successful, down nine points in two years.

Iraq in a Civil War for 59% of Americans

- Many adults in the United States are concerned about the level of sectarian tension in Iraq, according to a poll by Bloomberg and the Los Angeles Times. 59 per cent of respondents think Iraq is engaged in a civil war.
