It transforms our country from a democracy to a dictatorship, with absolute power granted to one man, with no judicial or congressional oversight.

George Bush is handing Usama Bin Laden his greatest victory, all gift-wrapped in a bow. And our legislators are holding their index fingers on the ribbon so he can tie it up neatly.

2. The Bushco fascists have been working toward this for three

generations. While they are not theocrats themselves (except possilby * himself) they think they are in control of the would-be theocrats, but they don't know the lessons of history - a movement like this cannot be just turned off or controlled. It cannot go much further before it becomes an uncontrolled conflagration that will sear this nation to the bone - a new civil war between theocrats and rationalists. Look to the English Civil War and the interregnum as an example.
