Why aren't we using that "secret procedural vote" the repubs used?

Didn't they just pull this shit on America a few weeks ago, stopping all debate on an important issue by invoking some mysterious procedural maneuver? Where are OUR clever fighters? Where are the senators willing to protect our constitution by any means necessary? The republicans seem to be able to do, albeit for all the wrong reasons. Now we have the right reasons, morality on our side...where are the heroes?

because Senator Byrd was in league with the Repug who used it. Senator Byrd knows every trick of Parliamentary procedures so he needs to do something if our Dems are serious about their beliefs in holding this bill back. Maybe they can't get a Repug to stand with them...and that's why it can't be used, though.

Although didn't media report you only needed one Senator?
