Who will be The One Democrat with the guts to start a FILIBUSTER?
Let's all call THAT office. Who will stand up for the American people and the Constitution?

4. I think we stand a chance
with any of them. I've called Kucinich and Feingold. I was read a statement when i called Feingold's office. He is opposed and stated he will do whatever it takes to stop this Bill from being rammed through the Senate.

2. Reid would have the vote tally - if they have enough they will
just threaten it. There will not actually be never-ending speeches. The Bill would just be tabled and die.

I spoke with Reid's office - they have tried working with various amendments - failed. They said that nothing is off the table right now.

3. One Democrat can't start a filibuster
You need 41, because it goes straight to the cloture vote.

"No they didn't, they reserved time for today"

Not quite, they agreed to a time LIMIT on the amendments and general debate AND they agreed to a final vote. It's in the Congressional Record--pg. S10242 9/27
