Why weren't they bringing up these bills last week or week before or week before last.I'm looking at CSPAN now and I'm hearing bill after bill coming up to vote on.What the hell is going on. The republicans are in control of this country, with the exception of "ME", yet they are complaining that the Democrats are blocking votes.Bush is trying to cover his ass from war crimes and the rethugs are granting his request. What the HELL is wrong with these aliens?

important shit. It's how the GOP works. Heaven forbid, too, that they would let the work of making the nation's laws interfere with their long weekends, either....

Don't get it done by tomorrow, forget about it; Congress leaves to campaign for the election. The GOP and Bush are scrambling to push as much through as possible because they are terrified Democrats will regain control in November.

When they bring up bills under suspension, it means they are almost always non-controversial. This always happens at the end of a session.
