I wrote to my congressmen/women I made phone calls. I vote. I get the occasional letter published
in my local paper. My two senators and representative all voted the right way AGAIN
but as a nation, we are still going down. Am I outside, wailing on the street?
No, I am trying to keep my own sanity by distracting myself with the little things
of my life like grocery shopping and weeding my garden.

I could move to another country (I have dual citizenship) but to do it I would
have to leave behind my children, my job...

I am starting to understand all too well the way the world works.

3. I know how you feel. I have dual citizenship as well, and I

desperately want to move away, but now I have a grown child with the first grandchild on the way. I can't imagine leaving them, and I can't imagine staying here. They can't imagine leaving. I just don't know what to do.
