God, McCain sucks
Edited on Thu Sep-28-06 04:48 PM by nam78_two
I hope they are proud of their little set of theatrics...the three of them-gushed over by the New York Times and the rest of the "liberal" media...
oooo look they are standing up for whats right....Warner, Graham and :puke: McCain

I am so disgusted I could vomit....

Good God man-have you no decency?

He was tortured for God's sake.....

How much will someone sell their soul for money and power....

Poor Senator Kennedy...he was upset...That wasn't theatrics......

Edit: Pukecain is on right now...If I hear the word "bipartisanship" one more time....

7. I'd love to get a look at Gannon/Guckert's little black book
along with the kinkier working girls in DC. My guess is that a lot of them are being blackmailed, and this is a great time to clean house.

After all, consider the silence of the religious lunatics, Phelps among them, over a homosexual prostitute having sleepovers in King George's house.

3. McCain wants to be President! I guess it is that simple for him.
:puke: "How much will someone sell their soul for money and power..." Hmm, that could be asked of so many of the CM whores. They could undo this murderous regime if they would only report the facts.....but NOOOOOOOOOOO, they kiss **'s butt every damn day! I would ask them, "How do you sleep at night?"

9. His actions and words clearly do not support the Troops.
Never mind every other way in which this it is wrong! One would think that someone who was a POW and tortured would have some compassion for his fellow soldiers and humans in general. He is clearly putting his ambitions before his love of Country and Humanity! He is the worst, imho!

it legal for his country to torture.

8. Its the theatrics that makes it SO disgusting
If he had just gone ahead and voted along party lines-yeah very bad-but the idea of USING this for political capital the way he did.
That whole sham of him, Warner and Graham throwing a rub blah blah....

Edited on Thu Sep-28-06 05:12 PM by Anarcho-Socialist
I had a tiny slither left after he backed Bush in 2004, but his pro-torture stance is the last straw. He of all people should know better. He's going for the White House, all principles are expendable.

21. McCain is nothin' but a HO.
What he doesn't yet know is the Republican establishment will NEVER allow him to be president. His Neocon pedigree is not pure enough. They will turn on him when the time comes, just you watch.

20. You're quite correct. They're the ones who made this fly
Sure, some (too goddam many) Dems voted for it. But these three made such a show of 'saving' the Geneva Convention and the Constitution.

And then they caved in and gave the criminals their free pass.

Anger at the Dems who voted for this crap is okay. But these three are the ones who should REALLY be the focus of our ire.

I, like a retard who respected this man beyond my party lines based on his merits, cast the only successful vote Ive had in my life, foe that douchebag.

Makes me sick to my stomach that I didnt vote for the no name running against him, but i actuallt thought he was 'marverick' at that time. Stupid me ;(

29. Worse than what you did
is good progressive people sitting home and NOT voting at all.

Don't feel bad. He lied. Smooth talking Arnolds or John McCains have made a lot of good liberals vote bad. It's bait & switch (remember the Uniter Not a Divider?). But it's never been more apparent that which party is in the majority makes all the difference in the world. Chairmanships, subpoena power, bills brought to the floor are controlled only by the majority party. Totally sucks. We need a majority. We need a majority. We need a majority.

24. John McCain is no longer an American Hero
He will be remembered as a soldier who was once tortured but who then became responsible for permitting the horrific torture of other soldiers. Conspiracy to conduct torture is now his legacy.

25. The "Charlie Brown trying to kick the football while Lucy pretends
to hold it" is the perfect analogy for those that thought McCain would somehow come through for what this country stands for, even given his own experiences in Vietnam. The despicable Puke has shown us all that he's made of in recent years and his breaking of his word to stand firm "even if it cost him the Presidency" in 2008 goes so far beyond the standard breaking of a campaign promise that I can't say what I'm truly thinking of him without risking trouble for myself...

I've never met the Admirals' son, but I've often thought that if I do, he will smell weird. McCain was last or close to last in his class at whatever crazy military school he went to. Based on the fact that he's stupid, I would bet some cash that he never really learned good grooming habits, either.
