2. I know. I feel the same way.
Fingernails, first?

That "cruel and unusual punishment" thingy doesn't apply to torture, right? Because that's interrogation, not punishment, right?

Well, there are a few things about the Republicans that I would like to know. How they stole 3.5 million votes from Kerry for a start.

If I keep asking with a hot poker, will they tell me?

11. I'm sure he hopes it was.
What's the point of being too rich and well-connected to punish or indict, otherwise?

5. Frankly....
Wouldn't it be better to put the anger aside and try to befriend and understand Republicans. Maybe that would break down some walls and gentle persuasion would come into play.

Violence and ill will only alienate people who we want to vote in our direction.

13. Those as part of the regime are enemies of the country
Enemy combatants as it were.

But alas, it's called principle. I will never torture.

14. Here's a simple way to do it.
Lock them all in a room.

Force them to watch Michael Moore movies 24/7.

At first it will be torture. But "maybe" something will actually sink in.

Nah. Gotta have a BRAIN for that to happen!

15. No, dear, you may not
We are better than they are. It's why if someone at Fox "News" or The New York (com)Post received a suspicious mailing and the FBI asked real journos to keep a lid on it, they would. Keith Olbermann said at least he would. And it's becuase he's a better person than they are.

We should be better than them. Annoyance, yes; torture, no. So I will toss 'em in a small cell for a few hours with a box of crackers, a jar of peanut butter, a couple of bottles of water and play the following songs:

"American Idiot" by Green Day
"Minority" by Green Day
"I Should be Allowed to Think" by They Might be Giants
"Yes Yes Yes" by Barenaked Ladies
"Combat Rock" by Sleater-Kinney
"Off With Your Head" by Sleater-Kinney
"Final Straw" by R.E.M.
"Hateful Hate" by 10,000 Maniacs
"Shitlist" by L7
"Sowing the Seeds of Love" by Tears for Fears (I get a terrible urge to sub the words "politician frat boy" for "politician granny.") because they should get something positive.

his oath of office, which was to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution? I wanna be the arresting officer!!!

Edited on Fri Sep-29-06 12:31 AM by Moochy
Are his crimes against humanity retro-actively legal now?

Can we just put him back in power and cut & run then? :sarcasm:

And thanks to the unknown poster today on DU who posted this idea.
