No Supreme Court review unless there's an actual case.
No actual case without Habeas Corpus.

You hit the nail on the head Junkdrawer. That means American citizens shipped off to Gitmo or some other hellhole and given military tribunals. Not even a mention of the Bill of Rights, won't apply to American 'illegal noncombatants'.
Wish more people would realize that.

|

9. As long as the M$M gives their audience reassurances, |
|
I swear, some Americans won't EVER believe what has happen until they are dragged away...and even then I wonder.
Torture in the name of freedom?

2. Methinks there will be a way to challenge this in the SCOTUS |
|
Maybe not for awhile though. It's just disgusting.

6. The Supremes will find a way to address it... |
|
...if a Democrat ever gets elected President. It only takes four votes for the SCOTUS to take a case, after all.

10. Let's think this through.... |
|
Mr. X goes missing.
Rumors are that Mr. X is at Gitmo, but the government denies all requests as to whom they are holding.
Now, what are Mrs. X's options?
