The Metomorphosis... Joe Lieberman
When Joe Lieberman awoke one morning from disturbing dreams, he found himself transformed into a Republican.

If anyone has any doubts about his allegiance, please note that he voted for torture and against habeas corpus today.

Does anyone here think he will caucus with the Democrats on votes that count? He knows where his money is coming from and he does not have the strength to bite the hand that feeds him.

VOTE NED LAMONT!

2. He has been for a long time, ever since he helped the GOP defeat Gore,
from within.

3. My Father-in-Law
was a German/American who fought in Germany in WW2. He was with the unit which liberated Buchenwald. Although he never spoke about his experience, my mother-in-law told me he came back a changed man. He would wake up almost every night in a cold sweat, screaming, and thrashing.

I knew the man for almost 15 year and only once in that entire time did he ever mention anything about his time in the war, but it was in reference to Buchenwald. "The blood of those bastards flows through MY veins". "There, but for fortune, go I". I can imagine somewhere, somehow, he is looking down at his great country and weeping.

There but for fortune, go I, Mr. Lieberman.
