The Game Is Fixed

For those who are all Rah Rah Rah, we'll get 'em next time, perhaps it's time for an analogy.

It's a poker game. You're the BEST player at the table. You know ALL the moves. The opposing players are all MORONS, and don't have the first idea how to play poker.

But they can see what cards you're holding on EVERY HAND.

Yet, you continue to sit and play with them. Oh, they let you win a couple of bucks now and then, but usually take you for 20's and 50's on the majority of the deals.

Yet, you continue playing with them.

Or perhaps you prefer the tried and true Lucy & Charlie Brown. Do you think that Charlie Brown is EVER going to kick that football? Did he ever? So do we admire him for his perserverence, because just maybe, one day he'll kick it? Or should he change tactics just once or twice?

Ol' Charlie keeps on trying to kick it, and ends up in the same position each time.
