No work tomorrow, Maybe I'll get drunk.

Possibly I'll be toasting to the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence individually. The only question is whether I'll devote a whole martini to each one, or just a slurp.

Anybody want to join me?

3. Each of the 56 deserves his own martini -- shaken, not stirred.
Here's to John Hancock and the others. Nice try, guys; sorry we blew it.

5. Sorry, James Bond doesn't know about martinis.

First, gotta use gin, not vodka.
Second, never ever shake.

For John Hancock--now there's a Helluva guy--I'll make it a double. Good way to prime the pumps.

7. way ahead of you....
I may take my V for Vendetta upstairs with me, or I may check out from reality and watch all of my Tivo'd "Weeds" episodes.

I've had close to 3 glasses of wine after having to deal with the white-knuckle drive home from DC in the pouring rain AND having to be stopped at 15th and Constitution to let some Bush bastard and his security detail cross the road.

Not one of my better nights. And I do have work tomorrow! Nothing like a hangover on Friday morning.

Cheers to all 56 Patriots!!!

11. Raise your glass
A martini for each (I'll go with bourbon but that's personal taste). The end of teh line is pretty much here, nothing to do now but see it in with style.

12. Best movie of the year so far....
Have watched at least half a dozen times already. Do you have a specific drinking game to go along with the movie. I thought about a drink every time V says a word starting with the letter "V" but I'd be passed out after the first monologue.... hehe

The torture bill treason and plot. I know of no reason why this attack on sanity and reason should ever be forgot.
