Why are we so surprised that Americans aren't rallying in the streets against this bill? This is the same country that justified the killing of "dirty-barbarian" Native Americans. This is the country that enslaved millions of African Americans, then fained their emancipation and continued to enslave them for nearly 100 more years. This is the country that subjugated women, 1/2 of its population and in some areas still continues to do so.

Why are we so surprised?

Considers many of it's neighbors to the south as "illegals".

I know I'm likely in the minority (in more ways than one) on this, but I just don't believe that PEOPLE are "illegal".

(By the way, I'm not new...considering recent events...I just decided the time was right to return).
