Jeez Louize, I've gotten like 10 now from Dems begging on the national level for money.

I'd rather hear from them about what happened yesterday and not some campaign fodder. Sorry, but I myself am not feeling generous today.

1. .
It depends on which Dems, doesn't it? The large majority still voted against it, in the House and in the Senate.

2. It's just the business as usual tone of them I guess that got me.

for Alaska's Dem candidate for U.S. House, but that's only because she's gotten NO support from the national party or even the state party for that matter (which is putting all their money apparently into the governor's race). Don Young has approximately $2 million in his war chest because he basically hasn't had an opponent since 1972. We have to fight him somehow, and the only way to do that is with a cash infusion.

It's the sad reality of running a campaign.

P.S. If anybody is interested in helping us out, PM me. We have a great candidate up here who just needs to get the word out.

6. John Kerry did...
Help Ben Cardin, who is running in Maryland against a Republican candidate personally recruited by George W. Bush and Karl Rove.

Donate to Jon Tester in Montana, whose opponent, Conrad Burns, is mired in the Abramoff lobbying scandal and beholden to the special interests.

Give to Jim Webb, who has the upper hand against the bumbling, troubling campaign of Virginia's Senator George Allen.

Contribute to Sheldon Whitehouse, who is ready, willing and able to stand with Democrats on all the tough votes -- and eager to help put the Senate in Democratic hands.

Only had a little to give. Hope it helps :)
