* Worked closely with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and John Walsh (host of FOX TV’s "America’s Most Wanted") on a variety of child protection programs. Among the latest of these is a program designed to show children how to protect themselves from online predators.

I think he used his affiliations as a guideline for just how to do what they do and not get caught. Seems they always get just a bit too cocky to keep themselves from becoming trapped in their own net.

This really angers me. There are a lot of good decent people who enjoy working with children for the sake of being around children and wanting to offer them a good role model.

Then along comes a creep like Foley, a hypocrite with this Child Protection Act bullshit to cover his tracks, and it just casts an aspersion on everybody.

The joke by a poster upthread about him becoming a priest is exactly what I'm talking about. Some priests were pedophiles and now the whole priesthood has to live with that ugly scandal. People like Foley taint the entire community of people who dedicate their lives to working with children.

Yes, I know that pedophiles gravitate to jobs where there will be contact with children, but this is of a higher order because this creep is/was a Congressman.
