Did I hear Will Durst of Will & Willie say he got FIRED?

I was listening to SF's "progressive" station the Quake this morning and Will Durst was saying Goodbye. I can't find any info. Does anyone know anything? Is this more AAR-type crap going on?

IMHO the Will and Willie Show was just not that good. I stuck around for a few months, but it was played out quickly. I'd gotten to the point that it was more interesting to yell at the radio over the ignorant crap Ronn Owens spews, than to listen to Willie Brown ramble on about all the tang he gets, the fabu restaurants he eats at, and all the celeb parties he goes to.

Poor Will Durst got the short end on that one, for sure.

KQKE made some missteps on the fall schedule at first. They stuck "Eco-Talk" at drive time between Randi and Thom. I'm all for sustainability, but they were just playing into getting ridiculed by Brian "Scare The Air Day" Sussman on 560 All Hate All The Time, in the opposing time slot. "Eco-Talk" is now on at 9PM which suits me much better and keeps hard news in focus during drive time.

I really like Stephanie, and she was formerly relegated to the Saturday morning "Best Of" replays dungeon. I'm glad to have her in the AMs now.

Now if KQKE would dump Ed Schultz, maybe they could work on something new and better with Will Durst in that time slot.

6. I like Ed's show....though he is uninformed on a lot of issues...

I like his style, and he preaches very well to those outside of our choir, but he's totally ignorant about a lot of issues that we DUers are very well informed on. He does a pretty good job at shredding the neo-cons on a daily basis.

I'm going to really enjoy Stephanie Miller being in the morning slot. Can't wait. I listen all day, on my way to work, at work, and on my way home.
