17. House Speaker Complicit in Foley Teen Sex Scandal Coverup?
Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL) Resigns over sexually explicit Email's and IM's to 16 year old boy...

Here is one of the sexually explicit instant messages to a 16 year old boy (Foley's screenname is Maf54):
http://abcnews.go.com/images/WNT/02-02-03b.pdf">House Speaker Complicit in Foley Teen Sex Scandal Coverup?

The Republican House leadership are monsters. They knew and let him remain in the GOP leadership for a year. They let him remain the Chairman of the child sex offender caucus. Jesus H. Christ.

GOP = Gathering Of Pedophiles

Foley was Chairman of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children
http://blogs.abcnews.com/theblotter/2006/09/foley_resigns_o.html">House Speaker Complicit in Foley Teen Sex Scandal Coverup?

The Republican House leadership has known about (and covered up) Foley for a year
Quote:
The page worked for Rep. Rodney Alexander, R-La., who said Friday that when he learned of the e-mail exchanges 10 to 11 months ago, he called the teen's parents. Alexander told the Ruston Daily Leader, "We also notified the House leadership that there might be a potential problem," a reference to the House's Republican leaders.

19. And they let him write NATIONAL sex offender laws?
He has POWER because he can write and vote on laws, but few seem to care.

If he were a prosecutor or judge, possibly all their past cases would be rightfully thrown out.

Stop saying Rove's a genius because he is not. He's a mean spirited sociopathic street fighter. He will go down - we MUST come at them with all we've got and not blow up this a**hole to something he's not. :grr:

Some genius.

That was a safe R seat, now it's up for grabs. If that's a sign of Rove's 'genius,' then he's as big a fucking idiot as his boss.

15. Nope, this Sex Scandal can RUIN the Republican Leadership who
helped to cover this up for close to 11 months.

Stop this B.S. fatalism! It's wasted energy and reverse spin. :(

This is valid news and it can trash the reputation of many so called "values oriented" Republican Leaders within The House.

Yes, this is valid. We could still be hearing about the civil war in Iraq if it were not for the Whorish M$M who takes orders directly from Uncle KKKarl and Pentagon PsyOps.

16. Karl Rove is smarter than all of the people in the world put together.
I just read somewhere that he sat down and planned out all events
from 1990 to 2020 day by day and that all your base are belong to him.
The harder you try to outsmart him, the smarter he gets, even while
he's sleeping.

25. That Rove, what a diabolical genius
Engineering a sex scandal that puts the GOP point guy for protecting children from internet predators in the spotlight for being an internet child predator. Wow! My goodness, Machiavelli must be rolling over in his grave saying, why didn't I write about this for The Prince.

It gets better. Rove now knows that the GOP House leadership can be held accountable for helping Foley stay in contact with kids he could prey on. Wow! I bet Rove was saying to himself, wait until the Family Values crowd gets ahold of this. Our turnout numbers in Nov are sure to, ahm, swell.

Ah, sorry, but this is a massive, massive scandal. It is very bad news for the GOP and yet another rock in the avalanche that is falling on them for this Nov. Rove can't stop this, he is incompetent like the rest of them and his ability to run dirty elections was based on pinning scandals like this on the other guys. What goes around comes around and Rove is 'getting' his on this.

26. Bull.
There is no way that Karl is sleeping well tonight over this:

1. He just lost a seat in the House. And at this point, every seat is precious to retain their majority and prevent the investigative and legal jihad that will face them come the Wednesday morning after election day..

2. This is going national in a much bigger way over the next week. There is now definite evidence that the entire House leadership was complicit in covering up Foley's stalking for the last eleven months. This is going to be yet another reminder to the voting public that this Congress is full of liars, thieves, cheats, and hypocrites. Not a good thing less than two months out.

3. The primary element of this matter is that a GOP congressman is yet another closeted gay hypocrite. Gay does NOT play well with their base, the christo-fascist wingnuts whom they need now more than ever - especially a gay man that was protected by the GOP leadership for many years. This will be yet another reason for their base to stay home in November.

.... Karl Rover had nothing to do with this.

But it seems the media is more interested in a politican who told a 16 year old that he is horny.

32. PUH-LEEZE...Take off the tinfoil, get a drink, meet a girl, see the sun
You really think Rove is gonna sink a solid republican district candidate, entering his SEVENTH term and the associated seniority, and someone they no doubt have tons of dirt on with which to exert influence?

All the while the rest of his party is worried about losing control of that house?

This is a HUGE opportunity for Dems to play a little dirty, call this guy out at every rally, call the Repubes the party of chickenhawk warmongers, torturers and child molesters, and win back our Congress.

These pigs buried Clinton over a consensual blowjob involving two adults. This pig misused his federal elected office in part to seduce a minor who was an employee.

And now it turns out several Repubes KNEW that this was possibly going on and covered for him.

This is no Rovian operation. This is red meat.
