1- Supports Bush and the War
2- Claims VA is doing a great job.
3-- Statement made today at meeting in Washington
"We need to stop the money train to the ACLU. They are attacking the flag and phrases like "Under God" and Our Boy Scouts."

It is really sad that the face of the American Legion is a right wing Nut Job! Because most of the older American's I know, Republican, Democrat or Independent that are or have been members of the American Legion have enjoyed the fellowship of that organization. It has never conveyed a political feeling for me to attend one of their events. I'm sure many members are dismayed that it has now become so political.

Notice it is only the ones like this butt who get their comments in the newspaper or on TV. Remember the guy from the VFW with the earmuffs that said "no bush bullshit". Remember you saw it only on the internet the news shows did not show it.

7. my grandma hated the American Legion. She belonged to the

Veterans of Foreign Wars because of my uncle John. All the blowhards in the AL couldn't belong to the VFW's but she could belong to both. She stayed with the VFW. Go, Grandma Edna!!!!!
