It was played on Democracy Now I think. Republicans may have freed the slaves, but the Republican Party is a shell of its former self, nothing like it once was way back when. Republican in its hay day stood for realistic principles and it had dignity, now its been desamated by Right-Wing NeoCon fringe groups who have hijacked the party for their own theocractic global domination...which will fail.
