Dateline I think started out as an NBC competitor to 60 Minutes. But soon fell to ethics, and liked it.

I think it has rerun a few billion times on MSNBC, so I've seen parts of it unintentionally. The title of the thread was meant to prompt us to imagine Chris Hansen busting Foley in some kitchen somewhere, as Hansen reads excerpts of the chat/IM transcripts. It is a scene that is repeated over and over again during the show.
