The car that will change everything

1. It's still a car, right?

Then it won't change "everything". The automobile is over 100 years old, but is *still* the same basic technology. Four tires, a powerplant (whose energy is derived from the consumption of fossil fuels...at least in this country), and the rest.

What we need is something besides *another* car that will "change everything"...like a national paradigm shift from over-reliance on single-vehicle conveyance to more widespread use of mass transit.

but they cost $100,000.00. So who can afford them but the haves. Leaves the majority of Americans out.

8. There are other electric cars that are not nearly as expensive

around $25K. Their overall performance is not quite up to what we need for communting yet

4. The 'Car' its self is not going to change everything..

...The reimplemetation of the Electric engine will, as for the price the samething applies to hybrids. When they first hit the market they were pretty expensive but over time they have came way down in price.
