I really, really believe that we all need due process and this needs to happen. Not so much for them, but for all to see just how many lies were told, how much hubris swirled around them, along with a dose of incompetence. Hearings, impeachment, trial and then criminal charges would really help heal the nation. The justice system can work if given the opportunity.

If anyone noticed, the toleration of rightwing lies/dishonesty became SOP during the regan years: regan actually bragged he'd never read an entire book outta choice! Yet he was shooed into whitehouse in a planned conjob - the guy slept 12 hours a day in 1980! A picture published in time masgazine early 80's showed regan w/out makeup. he looked like granny clampette, old, bald, wrinkled and obviously a front man for certain interests who used drugs and hollywood fx to keep regan onstage until...well until the con was no longer needed.
