bush's America versus Saddam's Iraq
bush's America, the OPPOSITE of Saddam's Iraq;

In bush's America, bush is the "decider", the "unitary executive"; bush is above the Supreme Court, above the United States Constitution, above US and international laws.

In bush's America, bush gets to "decide" what Geneva Conventions to adhere to, and what the Conventions mean.

In bush's America, bush gets to "decide" what is and what is not "torture".

In bush's America, bush gets to "decide" what an "enemy combatant" means, and who an "enemy combatant" is.

In bush's America, bush gets to "decide" to disappear anyone, US citizen or not, indefinitely, without due process, without trial, without recourse to any court, without Habeus Corpus.

In bush's America, bush gets to "decide" on what nations to invade & occupy.

In bush's America, bush publicly boasts of having secret US prisons all over the world.

In bush's America, questioning bush is treason, it's "comforting the enemy", and Americans must "watch what they say".

In bush's America, dissent is treason, it "makes us weak" and "comforts the enemy".

In bush's America, Americans should not question bush, should not dissent; Americans should just shut up and do what bush tells them to do. That is being "strong" and "patriotic".

Of course, in Saddam's Iraq it was totally the opposite.
