Absentee Ballots: The Cure For Diebolding?
It just struck me - what if Dems in Ohio, Florida, and other voter-hating states used absentee ballots instead of the fixed electronic machines? We'd have a paper trail, and folks wouldn't be forced to wait on line in Democratic districts, etc.

1. Check your precinct to see what happens to absentee ballots...

I remember reading that, in Ohio I think, that they just took the absentee ballots and had some one 'vote' them into the machines.

Don't want to discourage against any action. I'm all for the paper trail.

but let's research!

3. They better be sure of what they're doing.
Will the mailed in ballot be disappeared.

And as far as "fixed electronic machines" go, absentee ballots are quite often scanned by potentially "fixed electronic machines".

But there's a run-amok poster on DU who thinks getting masses to vote absentee will lead to the banning of e-voting.

Not sure how that works.

4. That was my plan. Even if the vote doesn't get counted, it's a boycott

5. It's how I vote,
I trust it. You can call the clerk and confirm they have received it.

6. In CO, absentee ballots are counted by Optiscan.
Any better?

Kinda doubt it.

But, what's the choice?
