Newsweek Conventional Wisdom Re: Al Gore - arrow up!

So - two things...

1) Big media pointing out the great speech and
2) Newsweek visits DU

1. Although DU is certainly unique overall,

it is hardly unique in views and presenters. I have followed up nearly every letter, fax and phone call to my sens&reps with an invitation, often a plea, to visit DU as a way to sample the real views of passionate patriots and get a better sense of relative values. I sadly fear they don't yet understand the value of appointing one or two aides to cruise the boards and blogs.

When they do mention something to do with the inet, they refer to the "biggies," rather than those more representative of massive voter power, such as DU.
These boards do, indeed, represent a cumulative uniqueness - nowhere else have I seen such a fast-paced, high intensity, and bewilderingly diverse ordered chaos! Any real reporting from DU would require the aide to be involved almost 24/7 for any comprehensive coverage or understanding.
