Election Day & Staying Home

Okay, look. Now is the time for all good men—and women—to come to the aid of the party.

In 1960, Barry Goldwater famously shouted, "Grow Up Conservatives." It took 20 years for that call to be heeded, and we got the expanded, entrenched Welfare State, a disastrous & humilitaing foreign policy in the meantime; and Ronald Reagan's presidency was about attempting to roll back those 20 years as much as moving forward on a positive agenda.

Look, if you want John Paul Stevens replaced on the Supreme Court with a carbon copy, pro-choice, pro-racial preferences Justice, stay home.

If you want Donald Rumsfeld hauled before Congress every week justifying the war rather than fighting it, stay home.

If you want spending to increase even above the levels you are unhappy with now, stay home.

14. They should be afraid of Liberals.
Liberals tend to tell the truth more and more often than do the questionable creatures who have taken over the republican party.

Liberals tend not to bow deeply enough when approaching the thrones of the mighty cons and tend to feel that the guy living on Hardscrabble street and trying to advance is as deserving of respect as is the entrenched moneyed scion of political and financial Majesty.

Liberals tend to take a dim view of the white collar unindicted corporatist who is beating the little old lady down the street out of her house and savings.

Liberals can and do fight just as nastily as anyone else when the cause is just and we are getting pretty tired of being constantly being derided and verbally stoned by a bunch of chickenhawks who believe their own propaganda and keep pushing too hard.

5. I WANT Donald Rumsfeld hauled before Congress every week, Bill.
But I'm afraid that if I stay home, it won't happen. What should I DO, Bill? What should I DO?

11. I bet that most of the senior military officers would like to see
Dumsfeld in Congress every week, too. They might finally get something accomplished with him out of the way.

15. Maybe not Congress, but a criminal court would do quite well....
...if that's not too crowded after November, which wouldn't be a problem with me.

6. Here's how I would better word what Bennett said
Look, if you want John Paul Stevens replaced on the Supreme Court with a Scalia-carbon copy, anti-choice, Activist Justice, stay home.

If you don't want Donald Rumsfeld hauled before Congress every week justifying the war rather than continuing it it, stay home.

If you want spending to increase even above the levels you are unhappy with now, stay home. (well that doesn't change since spending has increased with the Repukes in charge)

Since you and your nazi scum buddies took over the GOP and turned it into a pack of SS goons, we WILL stay home and watch you take a massive kick to the crotch, and when you straggle home in defeat, we'll take back our party, you jerkoff. Signed: REAL conservatives

9. Good advice for Republican's.
Stay home, don't vote in this election or any other. You're not good at making choices. You're listening to blowhards and hypocrites like Bill Bennett. So here's what to do on election day. Stay home! If you feel the overwhelming urge to vote, go out to your car, open the door and stick your head in and slam the door as hard as you can. Then go back in and lie down for awhile. It'll be the best thing you can do for America.

13. Screw him for quoting Goldwater!
Republicans gave up the right to quote Barry Goldwater when they allied with the likes of Sun Myung Moon and Jerry Falwell.

16. "Spending levels to increase"? WTF!!!!!
This statement almost boggles the mind. It's not even a joke. It is just plain pathetic. These repukes have been spending like sailors who won the Powerball and have been let loose on Singapore!

Is it possible to just wish someone away!
