I'd be feeling pretty stupid right about now over my support of the GOP over the last several years.

Because you helped these petrofascists who laugh at your God, ruin our country, maybe beyond repair! I do not forgive you, nor will I ever, but you'd better try and help us save what little is left of our country...for you own sake!

2. Why? They pretty much control the GOP...

They got Roberts and Alito. They stopped funding for embryonic stem cell research. They got abstinence only education. They get more and more federal restrictions on abortion and contraception. They got the faith-based initiatives, except where the courts have put a limit on it. They get unquestioned support for Israel. They get dozens of major politicians singing their Christian faith.

And even when some sex scandal breaks, it gets spun in their favorite fashion. In case you haven't heard, the GOP doesn't view the Foley scandal as being about oversight or responsibility for a student intern program, but about homosexuality.
