When you first heard the news about the plane crash in NYC today,
how many of you entertained the thought, even if just for a moment, that it was a desperate mid-term election ploy? At least two of us at my office did.

Now what does that say about our government? Hmmmmmmmm?

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Lidle family.

1. Me me me! My first thought: that desperate bastard Cheney...
now what has he done!

Second thought: Wish my daughter's pal in Manhattan would move.

2. Oh yes
I'm a cynical bastard. I do think they have something up their sleeve, just don't know what.

3. I didn't think it was a mid-term ploy.
I'm wondering now if they've found out anything about the guy who was actually piloting the plane.
My initial "paranoia" was hoping Keith Olbermann didn't live in that apartment building.

4. The thought was there, along with every other possibility I could think of
Ranging from what basically did happen to a desperate suicide attack. It was the 11th, after all. Bad things seem to happen on the 11th.

9. For just a passing second sure...but my real first thought was
wondering how many endless hours CNN, FOX, etc. would have their cameras gazing steadily at the carnage.

Not that I don't think it was worthy of coverage, because I do, but I also found the nonstop shots of a few burning rooms to be rather pathetic.

10. Sure I though it "might" be something because anything is possible
with the powers that be. I also figured that even if it wasn't, they'd use it if they could somehow.

My condolences to the Lidle family.
