Isn't that true and the most important point?
In 2004 we had 9 very fine candidates, most of them very good Dems. Still there was so much mudslinging here on DU. As a non-American, I never got it.

The people who I know from this poll would be remarkable candidates as well and I really admire some of them. Despite the prospect of having yet another field of great candidates for 2008 who would make very decent Presidents, I'm not looking forward to the primaries.
