I hope everyone gets a chance to see it.

Rush was invited to appear or for the ABC crew to go to him. He refused.

EDIT: Found the transcript!

19. It may very well have the opposite effect
Given M.J. Fox's apparent passion regarding the issue, I doubt this is harming him or his health.

He seems to be very much adjusted to his health issues and it could well be that promoting stem cell research is a motivator for him to stay active.

BTW, like many here, I've been very impressed with his courage, his intelligence and his integrity. This is in stark contrast to OxyCottonTail Limbaugh, who possesses neither integrity nor courage.

Yes, I give LimpPole credit for intelligence. He makes up lies for three hours every day and you can't keep making that many lies seem believable without being smart. His audience is another story.

6. Rush is only comfortable behind his own
microphone with screeners weeding out any caller who might disagree with him. His pathetic lies wouldn't stand up to any kind of scrutiny and he knows it. It's all for the benefit of his asshole "dittohead" listeners whose collective stupidity has made him a very rich man.

Chickenshit. He's big and brave on the radio, isn't he? Then he goes and hides his Oxycontin addicted self in his mansion. Typical yellow-bellied chickenhawk warmonger.

13. I broke down in tears
MJF took the high road and demonstrated what a true human being he was.
No bitterness, no blaming...just a man on a mission.

Now I also understand that with the medicine, he can speak but will have tremors while without the medicine he won't have the tremors, but will not be able to speak as well.

15. The interview was amazing. He pointed out that W has only used
one veto- and it was against federal funding of stem cell research- and it took away people's hope.

Mr. Fox, you were amazing.

16. poll on ABC.com
Is Michael J. Fox Wrong on Stem-Cell Research? -

http://abcnews.go.com/

Stem-cell research ads are a hot topic this campaign season. St. Louis Cardinals' Jeff Suppan is in TV spots against a stem-cell initiative, and actor Michael J. Fox was accused of "faking" his Parkinson's symptoms in an ad supporting stem-cell research.

What are your views on stem-cell research?

Stem-cell research is important and can help people. Anyone who suggests otherwise is ignorant. 7,327

It's unnatural and destroys human life. We must stop such research. 1,353

Not sure. Will defer to the medical and scientific communities. 880

Total Vote: 9,560

21. Horribly worded poll
Stem-cell research is important and can help people. Anyone who suggests otherwise is ignorant.

The way this choice is worded, you have to put down opponents as ignorant. This reduces the number of people who will select it.

Imagine how many more responses you would get if the wording was not emotionally weighted against a pro-stem-cell research answer.

17. Fox was amazing. I have the absolute utmost respect for him.
The thing that makes me teary when watching him is how talented he is and how much more he could have done to entertain us (which I think is a very noble pursuit). Only a short time before his death, James Cagney was asked who he would pick to play him if a biopic was ever made. He answered, "Michael J. Fox." Fox was a fan of his, too, and hosted a fine documentary about Cagney which was produced by Turner Classic Movies.

I applaud Fox now for his very, very important — and brave — work.

the only morally consistent position is that if you oppose embyonic stem cell research you must also oppose in-vitro fertilization.

23. MJF: OxyRush needs a 12 step program
from the interview, page 2:

Stephanopoulos: Rush apologized — I guess he apologized for saying you were acting. He didn't call you, did he?

Fox: He would've had more qualifications at an AA meeting.

(LAUGHTER)
