"Here's THE math: in a crowd of 5,000 Republican 'values voters'
like we got right'cheer, that adds up to at least 50 to 100 sexual
predators in this here auditorium!!!" (APPLAUSE)

1. Most of these people are in small towns...
and don't even know what is the real America... and don't want to know.

6. Well, I think the reason these people might not know about the "real America" is more because...
...they have willingly blinded themselves to it, rather than because of the relative smallness or largenes of whatever the towns in which they live.

16. Well, PLENTY of military folks come from the south...
...and the south and "small town America" is certainly well represented in the Iraq war casualty count.

I'm a New Yorker, myself. Some small towners like to say that New York isn't the "real" America. They like to think they have the market cornered on "real America." I won't reciprocate the attitude.

America is great cities like New York and Chicago and Los Angeles. It's small towns all across the country, too. It's even damn near arctic places like Anchorage, and tropical ones like Miami and even Honolulu. It's a huge country, with too many different types of people and places in it for anyone to lord it over anyone else over who is and isn't in the "real America."

19. Yes. I know that their are plenty of military from the south
but most of those at his rallies are from the south who like to pretend that they are the real america or the only america. Too bad that they don't realize that their are many different types if people in america when they make certain statements on these show it is evident that they don't see blacks and other races as americans.

17. I think Crankie's point is just to be careful about stereotyping...
small-town America. It's not as though all people who live in small towns in the Midwest are mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging neocons.

21. I know that....
my point is the crowds that usually show up at his rallies are and I am not saying all, a lot of them are for this administration because of the contracts and benefits bush sways to their areas in the country so they don't see or feel what a lot of americans do,. They believe that if they aren't benefitting or reaching goals they are not pulling themselves up by their bootstraps.

3. They are piping the Kool Aid in through the ventilation system.
How anyone can support these crooks is beyond me.

Stupidity and ignorance, I suspect, on the part of most Americans. They tune in Rush everyday, watch Faux News, and do not question what they are told.

In short, good little Republicans. They only get upset when it impacts them personally, and they can't see it coming at them beforehand.

I can't imagine being proud of George Bush, standing there with his visibly stained armpits, eviscerating the English language in his speech, and taking the rights and liberties away from Americans while he's doing it.

Disgraceful. That pretty much sums it up. Disgraceful and illegal.

5. Here's an old "Bush" Crowd Joke
GEORGE BUSH IS NOT STUPID CONVENTION

In the light of all the criticism that George Bush is an idiot, the Republicans decide to hold a "George Bush Is Not Stupid" convention. Eighty thousand Republicans meet in the Kansas City Chiefs Stadium.

Trent Lott says, "We are all here today to prove to the world that George Bush is not stupid. So ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce President George Bush."

After the cheers die down. Lott says "Mr. President, we're going to prove to the world once and for all that you are not stupid. So tell us, what is 15 plus 15?"

Bush, after scrunching up his face and concentrating real hard for a moment, declares, "Eighteen!"

Obviously everyone is a little disappointed. Then the 80,000 Republicans start cheering, "Give Bush another chance! Give Bush another chance!"

Trent Lott says, "Well since we've gone to the trouble of getting 80,000 of you in one place, I guess we can do that." So he asks, "What is 5 plus 5?"

After nearly 30 seconds of chin-rubbing and grimacing, Bush meekly asks "Ninety?"

Trent Lott is quite perplexed, looks down and just lets out a dejected sigh -- everyone is disheartened.

But then Bush starts pouting, and suddenly the 80,000 Republicans begin to yell and wave their hands, shouting again "Give Bush another chance! Give Bush another chance!"

Lott, unsure whether he's doing more harm than good, eventually says, "Ok! Ok! Just one more chance -- What is 2 plus 2?"

Bush looks down, counts on his fingers, and after a whole minute, proudly announces "Four."

A moment of total silence, then an electric charge surges through the stadium as pandemonium breaks out.

All 80,000 Republicans jump to their feet.

These GOP partisans start to wave their arms, stomp their feet and create a deafening roar:

"GIVE BUSH ANOTHER CHANCE! GIVE BUSH ANOTHER CHANCE!"

Seriously, you'd think you'd see at least one black, no? Hispanic? Asian? Anyone not white?

And, moving on, check out that dude in the lower righthand corner in the blue shirt. Is it just me, or is he madly in love with George Bush? Is he .... is he crying? There's no crying in politics!!

12. These people are crazy...
I posted something on another website on a discussion about the movie about bush and this one nut threatened me and everyone on there who disagreed with bush. He said that if what happened in the movie occurred in real life there would be a civil war and they would kill all dems. They worship him as though he is God. This person was really angry because there was even a discussion about the movie...
