KO showed a clip last night of a reporter interviewing Haggard.

She was leaning through the passenger car window, kind of right over a woman I presume was Haggard's wife. Asking several questions about the situation.

For the first several questions, the wife was doing her "minister's wife" duty - sitting and smiling supportively at the camera.

As the questions went on, however, Haggard began to dig himself in deeper and deeper. About going to the gay hooker just for a massage, and he'd been referred by someone at the hotel, and he bought some meth from the hooker because he was tempted, but then he never used it, and he knew he could get meth because the masseuse/hooker told him so, and.....

And then they were late for an appointment, and had to go.

Wife was no longer smiling benignly at the camera. She had her head turned and was glaring at Haggard. Daggers, daggers, daggers.

1. I saw a shorter clip of that interview and was astounded he was

talking so freely. Doesn't he have a lawyer telling him to keep his yap shut?

It's like someone gave him a shot of truth serum before that reporter walked up to his car and started asking questions. And he just kept talking. His poor wife had to sit there and listen, it looked like she was hearing all this for the first time.

to confess part or all, do it the first day -- don't change your story to fit each day's revelations. It was quite bizarre. And his wife is gonna f**kin' KILL him.
