3. What are you starting to see?
Webb won, McCaskill's up 14000 with St. Louis left to be counted, and Tester's up by 8. Are you blind or stupid?

15. I gotta agree, no need for insults
I'm sure it wasn't intended that way, I expect in person your tone of voice would have conveyed the lighthearted nature of your words, but it didn't carry through in the typing.

4. MO and MT are ahead at the moment.
If we clinch, we'll have 51, I believe.

until the VA issues began coming up. Starting to think we'll get the Senate, but not counting my chickens just yet.

We are more likely to get Montana than Missouri at this point.

But I think we might get both.

12. Does a 50-50 mean Cheney has to come out of his undisclosed location
and actually do some f*cking thing?

I'm thinking, though, that we'll save him the effort.

You go hide in your cave, Dick.

23. Both independents will organize with us.
I'm sure Karl is trying to call Lieberman to switch over right now. I'm sure Joe is smiling at the sensation of having his sphincter polished by the best. But in the end Lieberman will dance with the winners; he'd be crazy not to.

31. But he is crazy
and a lying weasel and in it for Joe - don't be so sure Karl won't make him a deal he can't refuse - and if it wasn't so damn important for us to get control of the Senate I wish he would caucus with the repunks because that would serve those ROTTEN NO GOOD DEM LEADERS THAT DID NOTHING TO HELP NED LAMONT right - fuck all of those Dems that sat back and showed such disrespect for the Dem primary voters of CT.

21. Lieberman's a wild card, imho.
There's no telling what he'll do given the incentive. Indeed, I'm not very confident Ben Nelson won't change the initial to match his votes.

27. Rats don't desert a winner to join a sinking ship.
Rove will call Lieberman and beg for a switch. Lieberman will be polite and say in that gravelly voice "I'm sorry, darling, but I made a promise to my children, I mean my voters. I'd rather be a committee chairman than your personal sock puppet."

Lieberman is entirely predictible. He won't switch and neither will Ben Nelson.

28. I think we might just pull this one out.
Mind you, this is my thoroughly amateur analysis, but...

Montana's gonna swing for Tester. They elected Schweitzer a while ago and Tester's gonna ride that as well as the national wave. Not worried about that seat.

McCaskill, I'm a little worried about, but optimistic. Last I heard, Kansas City wasn't in yet.

Webb, I think, will fight through the recount/lawsuit/counterlawsuit phase, and we're ready for it this time, unlike 2000 and 2004. It'll be a squeaker, but I think it's ours to lose at this point.

It'll be a near thing, but if we buckle down, I think we can do this.

29. I see 51-49...
Tester in MT will win, McCaskill will win with late reporting St Louis and Webb will win with late reporting from Fairfax Co. If there are legal battles, it will probably over recounts in VA.
