Chris Matthews advocates immediate withdrawal from Iraq.
He said just now on "Hardball" that the US left Vietnam slowly and got 30,000 more Americans killed.

If we leave Iraq over two years instead of tomorrow, nothing will be better for it, and more Americans will die.

1. I don't necessarily disagree ...
... but I don't think Matthews is in a position to give serious advice.

5. I think
we should at least turn on the electric and water before we go and then give the Iraqis back their oil so they can pay for their own reconstruction.

9. thats a nice thought but * may have painted the US into a corner
i question whether or not we even have that option.
i don't have enough info though.
lets see what happens when the Dems actually start getting access to the REAL DOCUMENTS
and we can see the real state of affairs over there.

12. With the money we've already lost in Iraq
and can't account for, we could have given every Iraqi a million bucks. With a million bucks each, they would stop killing each other and start building houses and mosques. Iraq could look like Disneyland in a few years.

6. According to his pal Brian Williams, leaving now
would be "abandoning our mission", whatever that is.

And he's been sandbagging every Dem to appear on his show.

Fuck you Tweety - you never asked your Republican overlords this set up question.

You know, like on MONDAY????

Asshole.

(And trust me, I'm somebody who wants us out of there like yesterday, I just hate his "trap" bullshit.)
