I didn't buy into the cabal's B.S. for one minute, starting from selection 2000. I faltered a moment after 9/11, in my horror and confusion, and was very briefly willing to give our "leaders" the benefit of the doubt in handling this catastrophic situation.
Well, it didn't take long, maybe days, before my tentative willingness to trust was replaced by full bore revulsion at the cynical and craven way the WH was manipulating the event and the country.
My outrage has continued to grow, fueled by the reality we've all lived, which we're living today. My question to you, who has been a devotee of the money and power grubbers that make up the cabal, or maybe just a gwb cult of personality worshipper...How do you feel right now?
I've made many mistakes and serious mis steps in my personal life. However, I can't ever remember whole heartedly cheering on a national misadventure, rife with immorality, prejudice, contempt for others personal beliefs and pure mean selfishness.
That is something to which I can't relate. Please, though, it's important for me to understand. Your reactions, and the reactions of others like you, will very much influence the direction of political discourse, and ultimately, policies in the next weeks, months, years.
Do you feel empty, embittered, angry? If you're disappointed or disillusioned, at whom is that directed? Or, are you just hunkering down until another empty suit with the right slogans comes along?
I can only guess. I've held my views and beliefs consistently, which have been in diametric opposition to yours. In the past, pre "I'm a uniter" days, we could talk about politics. Until, that is, you were somehow blinded by the flashing neon of moral absolutism, presented 24/7 by the cabal, via the MSM.
Today, though, your fist pumping, rah rah days are behind you. The somber work of cleaning up the multiple messes left by your heroes is sinking in. Thankfully, you've finally seen behind that flashing neon to the dark and forbidding night hidden by its bright lights.
Your tattered psyche might need something to which to cling. Well, you can cling to the fact that you are an American citizen, first and foremost. And, your country needs you now. You backed the wrong horse, to the detriment of our citizenry and the Constitution. You made a mistake, pretty much a whopper of a f*** up. However, starting from now on, maybe you can commit to helping with the hard work necessary to make this great country recognizable to all of us, again. You and I both know it wasn't always like this.
Now that you've suffered the bleakness of seeing reality pummel your most closely held beliefs, what next? Will we work together, or is this a permanent divide?
What will you do? MKJ
