Happy New Year DU - I am damned glad 2006 is gone....

It was one of the worst years of my life, yet also brought me more hope then some other years.

Here is hoping 2007 is better for us all, and many others around the world.

I got new hope, and new dreams, for 2007. I hope you all do as well.

With any luck I will find a computer job in CA and be out of Ohio soon, and starting a whole new life. And with any luck your life will get a ton better as well.

I am hopeful for once in a long time - and I hope you are as well.

It may seem silly, how we set up things for change in a new year - but I see it as healthy in many ways. Starting a new year, a new time, and working hard to change how things are. We all have markers, and tonight was one of mine.

So happy new year, and let us all work to make this the best year we have all had in a long time. Dems control, and we finally have some hope.

Bush is on his third appeal (lawyers not hopeful), Condi is an an asylum (still insisting on being addressed as Mrs. Bush), and Bill O'Reilly, drunk and homeless, was found dead in an alley - strangled with tinsel (the cops declared it yet another casualty in the War on Christmas).
