I was just reading the nasty site, and they're pissed off that this is being reported as a milestone. They seem to believe that bad news should never be reported. We should be shielded from reality.

Well fuck you, Freepers. We should always have the best information available to us - we're voters in the greatest Republic that ever existed. We need to know what our government is doing, and how much it costs.

The nutjobs would have us believe that asking such questions is un-American. These are the same crap-holes who ask the waiter how much the pepper-on-the-salad costs.

Our wars cost something. Lives, money, resources. We absolutely have a right to know what those costs are.

Reporting the costs, or the number of lost lives, is not un-American. It's the very definition of American.

1. A month back I wondered, will bu$h get his 3000 by years end

Two weeks ago I was sure it wouldn't happen by 12/31/06. Even last week I was hopeful that we would get past the new year without passing that dubious milestone.
Now here we are with the bu$h using the mounting casualties to promote his war claiming the can not die in vain.
HOW MANY MORE MUST DIE FOR THE bu$h REGIME?
