after the last six we deserve a good one. Maybe kicking the tramp out of the whitehouse will be what it takes for it to be a great one.

its sounding better all the time

2. No joke.. 2006 just sucked way too much.
The lack of good news has worn me out. 2007 is the year we will see the light at the end of the tunnel.

3. I don't see much hope of getting that buffoon out of the WH
I think we are stuck with that moron in charge for another 2 years. The Democrats have no backbone to do the right thing in impeaching him, and the repukes just plain don't care what the idiot does....just as long as there is a repuke in the WH.

This will be a long,long 2 years.

6. Bush will lose it in the first 100 hours
He has no clue how to deal with Democrats with real power.

Mark my words if you wish, Bush and Cheney will be gone by Sept of 07.

11. the ONLY way
is to DEMAND that the newly elected Congress do as WE the people have elected them to do...............and that is to hold ALL accountable for the mess in Iraq and to bring bush and his administration to Justice............

If the Democrats start to "lock step to the bush policy"...........then we know that Democracy has been lost in the United States of America...............for WE THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN!!!!!!

14. How 2007 turns out
will depend an awful lot on the wether the progressives, or the DLC show the most leadership, and if they have enough spine to do the hard work for Americans and the Constitution.

The Repubs are about to start shooting, but they will also be shooting themselves as their skermishers struggle to see if the RP is the Party of Business, Eternal War for Oil, or Jesusland.

I think we need to encourage them.

But don't look to 07 as a happy year. Not unless *we* make it one. We need to be, not the wind under our Party's wings, but the boot up its ass.

22. I heard on the radio
that more people said 2006 sucked than said it was a good year. That sucks, but shows that more changes will be coming! 2007 has such possibilities! I'm an optimist.
