Limpball, Hannity, and Boortz back tomorrow and the talking point will be...
How the execution of Saddam should be a warning to other dictators that the same will happen to them because Bush is a bad man. What do you think?

1. ...unless they already have nukes, in which case they're home free.
They probably won't stress that part of the equation quite as much, though... :eyes:

2. No longer relevant what they say.
People who waste time listening to them are beyond hope. There's work to do with getting America back on track, and they are not part of doing so. So let them talk.

And until the US stops getting its ass handed to them in Iraq the whole puffing the chest like a bad man routine is gonna fall flat.

(edited for bad apostrophe)

8. Naw, the execution was a Friday News Dump
followed by the weekend. The subject, hammered ad nauseum by every ranter on the airwaves, will be the perfidy of Conyers for having his staffers pick up his laundry, make campaign calls, and baby sit off hours. Plus, they will rant ad infinitum about his unsuitability to hold any investigations of the holy Repugs and their holy wars because of it.

Count on it. Rove has given the orders.

11. I think you are spot on, Warpy. You nail the coming agenda - soon to be in the NYT and Wash Post
Edited on Mon Jan-01-07 05:36 PM by papau
as they quote reports from that feeder news site - Fox Cable News - as Rove goes all out to kill the messenger so as to hide the message.

I expect think tank papers funded by Scafie to be on C-Span and NPR shortly as we pretend morals questions are not involved in the un-needed war, only political differences where the poor other side - the right wing side - is not getting heard enough.

And that prosperity fact sheet obtained by using averages of the changed income dollars received by billionaires and paupers in a combined total should be a nightly report on CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, NPR, AND PBS news reports on the economy. The media did this so well during the Reagan years that it should be even easier to turn up the Stepford wife "happy, happy" song volume this go round.

9. I think Bush has been waiting for this propaganda arm to be back from vacation ...
Edited on Mon Jan-01-07 05:23 PM by PSPS
... before he "reveals" his "plan." Since the RW media machine is bush's de-facto ministry of propaganda and all take their orders from the white house, he will need them to help "catapult the propaganda" which is his "new plan."

12. Wise thought, PSPS.

The cheerleading squad will have to work overtime. Limbaugh will have to declare a big percentage of the active duty military quitters, etc. etc.

14. Will she stick to the plan?

Day One: Put new rules in place to "break the link between lobbyists and legislation."

Day Two: Enact all the recommendations made by the commission that investigated the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Time remaining until 100 hours: Raise the minimum wage to $7.25 an hour, maybe in one step. Cut the interest rate on student loans in half. Allow the government to negotiate directly with the pharmaceutical companies for lower drug prices for Medicare patients.

Broaden the types of stem cell research allowed with federal funds _ "I hope with a veto-proof majority," she added in an Associated Press interview Thursday.

All the days after that: "Pay as you go," meaning no increasing the deficit, whether the issue is middle class tax relief, health care or some other priority.

To do that, she said, Bush-era tax cuts would have to be rolled back for those above "a certain level." She mentioned annual incomes of $250,000 or $300,000 a year and higher, and said tax rates for those individuals might revert to those of the Clinton era. Details will have to be worked out, she emphasized.
