If money is the mother's milk of politics...?
Then which candidates would we expect to see competitive by this time next year? Of course, with the advent of the Internets, any candidate may connect with the grassroots at any time and raise a large amount of money over a short period of time. However, if we were to look at the candidates with money at this time, we would have to put Hillary near the top. John Kerry can always get the money. John Edwards is no pauper. But the others would need to raise a lot of money. They will need an extra effort to connect to the netroots. Or is money no longer as important as the ideas and the connection to the people?

1. If money is the mother's milk of politics, the Republicans are
flowing with the milk of human kindness...

....and I'm part Brains of Britain, part George Clooney and part Hercules Unchained.
