749 days left to impeach George W. Bush
Let the investigations commence! But, dear Democrats on the Hill, you know what we want in the end - we want Bush thrown out of office and facing criminal charges.

3. Don't start holding your breathe now because it won't happen.
I really, really, want to win the powerball and that's not going to happen either. Impeaching Bush does not throw him out of office. Impeaching him in the House and then convicting him in the Senate will. Where exactly are the 67 votes going to come from in the Senate to convict? Don't like to think about that, huh? The devil is in the details. Since Bush is not going to be thrown out of office, how about kicking the crap out of him for two years, giving him an what Ali called a Floyd Patterson humiliation beating.

4. What you described is NOT going to happen
Remember, Bush calls himself "The Decider," and frankly couldn't give a damn what the Democrats, let alone the American people, think of him. If Bush is allowed to serve out his last two years without being impeached and removed from office, he'll high-tail it in 2009 to his ranch in Paraguay - which has no extradition treaty with America.

So you see, impeachment is not an option. It's an imperative.

9. Please explain exactly how it is not going to happen. I'll tell you what,
in 2 years from now if I am wrong I will admit it, will you? Pelosi says impeachment is off the table. What part of that is hard to understand? Impeachment without conviction does not get Bush out of office. Please, who are the 67 senators who would vote to convict? You can't be sure if all of the Democratic Senators would vote to convict.

8. But only 1 day until the LieberDems make the US a War Criminal Nation.
Because Only Impeachment can prevent the Dems from becoming actively complicit with the ongoing war crimes of the regime. And failure to act to stop war crimes is a war crime in itself.

Rationalizing inaction with claims of "investigation" simply defies reality -- as the war crimes have already been investigated by the UN, ruled on by the US Supreme Court in Hamdan, and admitted to by the regime with words like "quaint," "dunking," and "redefining" Geneva.

Only an Impeachment effort -- which includes publicly saying the word, even at Georgetown cocktail parties -- constitutes active opposition to the ongoing crimes and satisfies our treaty obligations.

No, you can't claim you "need more support." You are required to act alone. With only the demonstrable, iminent risk to life and limb as a mitigating factor.

No, you can't politicize war crimes. You are required to act even if no one ever votes for you and/or your party again.

No, you can't pretend it's "not so bad." You are required to act unless you are confident that it is not occurring on your watch.

No, you can't pretend it's "not us." You are required to stop it whether it's soldiers, private contractors, rendition locales, or any other extension of US power.

And you can't pretend your duty to act does not begin the minute you take the oath of office as a member of the majority party in the US Congress.

Only Impeachment intiates a reality-based, positive agenda.

Only Impeachment remains as your moral, patriotic duty.

Only Impeachment
