The Army JROTC Creed
I am an Army JROTC cadet. I will always conduct myself to bring credit to my family, country, school, and the corps of cadets.

I am loyal and patriotic. I am the future of the Untied States of America.

I do not lie, cheat, or steal and will always be accountable for my actions and deeds.

I will always practice good citizenship and patriotism.

I will work hard to improve my mind and strengthen my body.

I will seek the mantle of leadership and stand prepared to uphold the Constitution and the American way of life.

May god grant me the strength to always live by this creed.

I stumbled across that tonight. I thought, well, it's probably one of those tradition things from ages ago that they haven't updated. But no, it was first introduced in 1995.

Would it kill them to stop intermingling religion, the military and public education?

2. Odd
I'll have to ask my friends in JROTC if they say that, willingly or not. It would be interesting to find out for sure, and maybe take further.

3. It might only be the army JRTOC
I'm not sure that the other services do that, I only saw the creed on the one site.
