I almost hate to say that. It's bordering on criticism, which can cause flame fests, but I seriously hope that the Democrats get seriously in the faces of these dangerous tyrants and stop them, or at least make a genuine effort.

If they don't even try, I'll be mighty disappointed. I really do expect much of them, maybe too much, but I grow increasingly impatient and alarmed at the direction we are headed in.

I want fighters on my side, real fighters.

2. Yes to both

The Republicons have suffered setbacks, yes. But all you have to do is listen to them to realize that they aren't defeated.
They must have spent the holidays drawing their plans. Big Business and Old Money must have promised them their evil hearts' desires if they could regain control.
They've demonstrated that they are treacherous and ruthless.
Speaker Pelosi should be ready to beat them down with an iron hammer for the next two years.
And all of her troops should stand ready to kick the con's teeth in while they're down.

3. fight harder, but fair... the dems shouldn't bring themselves down to the repuke
level. Actually, it's pretty simple: don't allow non-factual rhetoric (e.g.: criticizing * is unpatriotic) to enter the debate. When you demur to statements like that, you give them credibility, even though they may not be credible. There was a great deal of capitulation on these types of things, and if it were not allowed, it would change then playing field of the debate. If the GOP ever had to fight on a level playing field, they wouldn't have a chance, because they're not too bright. ;-)

4. They must fight hard, but fairly. The moral high ground is theirs if they want it.
And that is the way to go.
To contrast sharply with the corrupt repugs.

5. I don't think 'mean' means unfair.
I don't suggest that we fight unfairly, just with more rage and passion and opposition.

6. Make no mistake, this is the battle of their lives. They must fight
with everything they have. You can wage
a ferocious fight to the death but still take the high ground.
And it must be done, or we are lost.

7. Well, that's a no brainer for me
Yes, I want them to drag every last one of the minority party down and out. Not because of partisanship but because they need to be put in their place.
