some of the red neck...uhhh..I mean people here in Southern Illinois that love Obama almost as much as they love bush. Well, maybe that is an exaggeration. But anyway there are plenty of people down here that voted for bush and Obama in 2004, and Obama did not speak too highly of the "anointed one" in speeches here either. He tried to be cautious in the beginning because his advisers had warned him of the climate of down state, but as time went by and the swift boat people were on the attack, all holds were off. He came down once with Max Cleeland and that was a fiery couple of speeches. And yes, I got to meet Max in person also. :hippie:

And here's the kind of thing that worries me about Sen. Obama:
