National Day of--what?--SHREDDING

As outgoing GOP officials around the country prepare to take leave of the offices for which they may or may not have been duly elected (to be replaced by Democrats who may or may not have been duly elected, as one never knows these days), they get one extra day to clear out their offices, with the government buildings officially closed for a national day of mourning for Gerald Ford. What might be happening today in the offices of Kenneth Blackwell, Ohio Secretary of State, or any of the other corrupt officials who have lost their slippery grip on official power?

I'm guessing that shredding trucks are in high demand today, that the delete key on office computers is getting a work-out, and that lights will be on very late in many a "closed" government building tonight.

If I were in Columbus, Ohio or Washington, D.C. or ______________________ (fill in the blank), I'd be down at the government office buildings checking out the action.

3. It actually started back in October

This pic was taken and posted back in October...it's a shredder truck heading into Cheney's compound. By now they are probably needing an entire fleet of these trucks.
