CNN intentionally gaffs Barack Obama's name - Obama kisses their ass
Sorry. That typo was intentional and in typical Democratic party fashion Obama buys CNN's "apology" hook, line and sinker. So FUCKING typical!

Nothing has changed - NOTHING!

3. Why do you think he was on the program?
To force CNN to apologize to him personally. If he makes them do that each and every time, they'll stop making that 'mistake'. Very classy.

One would think he would have to be present for that to occur, my mistake that he wasn't. Turns out, Blitzer hadn't even spoken to Obama when he issued his apology, so there's no way you could come to any conclusion about Obama's response.

29. What was he supposed to do?
Tell CNN to shove its apology, and then claim they did the mix-up on purpose? Without any evidence it was more than an innocent mistake (suspicions aren't evidence), Obama was correct to handle it exactly as he did. CNN has egg on its face, and he comes out smelling like a rose. He's no wimp, BTW.

What do you think he should do, through a hissy fit so the media can report 24/7 on how much of a whiner he is? Or claim that he's delusional?

Obama understands the game better than that. Fighting the media is like committing suicide to get back at God. God doesn't care, and you lose. Glad Obama's smarter than that.

you'll see all kinds of captures involving embarrassing comments on Republicans. "Former President Bush" over the current Bush's image.

But your comment doesn't relate to what I said. I know it was deliberate. But unless Obama has some certifiable evidence that it was deliberate, he'd be a fool to claim it.

nipped the whole thing becoming news or not. Manufactured news versus a legal action that would certainly keep the "mistake" on the tv for quite a long time...He may be gambling that his quick acceptance would be the quicker end to it all.

Party A disses Party B..and does it in public.

Public calls them on it

Party A "offers" an effusive (yet insincere( apology...again in public

Party B has NO choice but to accept it gracefully or he/she will then vbe accused of being "mean" and "vindictive"..

Party A wins no matter what happens
