CNN apologizes for Obama gaffe in Bin Laden graphic
Senator Obama's office called RAW STORY to comment on the incident and CNN's apology.

A Monday night broadcast of CNN's Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer confused America's "number one enemy" with one of America's most popular senators, RAW STORY has learned.

CNN apologized for the error, which came after a series of incidents in recent months in which Illinois Democrat Senator Barack Obama was subtly or directly linked with militant Islamic personalities who have been hostile to the United States.

1. As an american, apolgy NOT accepted!
This is an insult to everyone who watches TV.

They can bleep out live broadcast where someone uses inappropriate words, but they can't catch an error as gross as this. If they can't get the details right, they need to stop reporting.

4. But during Ford's funeral?
Will the apology be given during wolf's regular broadcast? Perhaps they should have Obama on and make the apology in person. Just a thought.

3. Obama isn't my pick
But this deserves a hefty lawsuit.
I hope some of the other news outlets pick up on this and run (Keith, Jon, Stephen).
It is reprehensible. They lather all over themselves saying his middle name. It is total bullshit.

5. So who was fired for this?
Obama, at the very least, deserves to be told who was fired for this. And if there are any more "jokes", any more "slip-ups", more people should get the axe.

6. I am happy CNN apologized.
In light of the other incidents over the past month I do hope they apoligized for all of them. But, at least they acknowledged it, have made note that we are watching and monitoring and will be on better behavior in the future.
